Matt and his team did a great job transforming our attic. The project took under a month to complete and was done to the highest quality.

Matt and his team of expert craftsmen recently converted our attic. Their quote was very competitive. From the very start the team were very efficient taking approximately 10 working days to complete the work to a really high standard. They also started when they said they would. Communication every step of the way was very timely and all requests by ourselves were acted on. All the trades did a fantastic job and were also incredibly tidy as they worked, cleaning up each day. I would highly recommend The Attic Man if you are considering doing up your Attic.

Over the past decade we have had various building/renovation works carried out on our house. In all that time, we have not encountered a more professional and efficient company than the Atticman. They were recommended to us by a neighbour who also had their attic converted by them. From the very outset Matt explained everything very clearly and he was very transparent on costs. He checked in with us at various intervals and paid great attention to every detail. Special mention needs to made of Breffni and Marius who were on site. They really were top. They were very capable and hardworking. As the project went on we sought to make some changes to the plan. They were very accommodating, flexible and I must say, patient!!!! Their final product was excellent and I would say that they went above and beyond. Finally, it was an added bonus that they were great craic!! After shopping around for the best part of 9 months we decided to use The Attic Man for our attic conversion. From the initial meeting with Matt we felt very confident that his company could complete the job we wanted. I cannot speak highly enough about him and his workers. The workers were definitely the tidiest tradesmen that we have ever had. They worked from early morning and apart from their lunch they did not stop all day. There was very little disruption to the rest of the house, the attention to detail is second to none and the efficiency of the whole project was most impressive. I was kept informed through the whole process also. There was no hidden costs. The price Matt gave initially was the price given. To say we have not found one issue would be an understament. Matt himself came to inspect the conversion when all was done which was a nice touch. A report then followed via email. I feel very confident that if any issue did arise that Matt would be back asap to sort. The Attic Man is one of very few companies that I would have no hesitation in recommending to anyone. We had our attic converted by the Atticman in November 2022. The team of workers were all fantastic and gave us exactly what we wanted. They were quick to respond to my enquiry and to assess the job, always quick to respond to messages and calls. Great communication by the entire team, discussed all the options to keep us involved throughout the process. Friendly hard workers with high quality work. Took great care to protect the house throughout the process. I honestly expected to be living on a building site for 2 weeks but they were so on top of everything you wouldn’t even know they were here. Yes we had a few clouds of dust some days which is expected when walls are being knocked down but they cleaned up well each day leaving. Compliant with building regulations and discussed how various things were needed for support and fire safety etc which made me feel at easy with the work being done. The storage eaves are just the right size with large doors to make it easy to access, there is even a light inside for when you are sorting things. All along they said the aim was to give as much floor space as possible and they certainly did. I still can’t believe how much space has been lost up there all these years! I love the windows and I’m glad these large windows were recommended, they are a great focal point of the room as well as providing great natural light. It’s hard to believe from the old attic that it would be warm enough to be a useable room but it is very cosy with the insulation and heating installed. I have my room set up as a craft room, it’s spacious, bright and cosy so I never have to leave! The access to the attic comes from a bedroom, we had the option to extend the hallway but as I use both rooms I decided to keep the space in the bedroom and leave the stairs in the room, it’s like a secret passageway, it just works perfectly. It is actually better than I ever expected. I’ve wanted this attic room a long time and I am trilled to finally have it. The atticman was my first choice for work based on their professionalism, reviews, long time I’m business and they offered the quality I was looking for. Without a doubt some of the best workers we’ve had in our home and I can not recommend or thank the team at the atticman enough.

We recently had our attic converted by Matt & his team from the Attic Man and are delighted with the results. We worked with Matt before the renovation to come up with a plan that worked for us - we wanted a separate office space and then a main room that would house another workspace and bed. Matt was great to deal with and change plans as the renovations developed and we now have two great rooms in the attic. The team were very quick and worked efficiently over the few weeks.
